    A century-old courtyard residence in Tainan has been adapted into an exhibition venue without concealing the difference between its historic fabric and new interventions.     Taipei’s Theater of Stacked Boxes and a Sphere

    OMA won the 2009 competition for Taipei Performing Arts Center with a proposal that joined three theaters to a central cube. Completed in 2022 beside Shilin Night Market, the building carries that early experiment into a public venue for performance and everyday circulation.

    A Former Steakhouse Becomes a Temple Inside a Taipei Night Market

    Sky Religion occupies a former steakhouse inside Taipei’s Linjiang Street Night Market. Daniel Hu Interior turned the narrow, windowless building into a vertical sequence of worship spaces shaped by mirrors, reflected light, and a Guanyin statue spanning multiple levels.
