    The 920-meter Danjiang Bridge now links Tamsui and Bali at the mouth of northern Taiwan’s Tamsui River. An interview with its project architect and photographs from a first-crossing event show how the bridge combines a single sculptural tower, a slim steel deck, and unusually restrained infrastructure design.
