PamaSleepLa (爸媽睡了), whose name roughly means ‘Mom and Dad Are Asleep,’ is a retro game cafe on Chifeng Street in Taipei’s Datong District. Its narrow room places gaming stations along both walls, with visitors seated at counters beneath orange pendant lamps and exposed red pipes.

A 21-second Instagram Reel by foodsharewithlove moves through rows of cartridges, older consoles, wired controllers, and handheld games. One wooden station includes a small instruction screen showing players how to insert a cartridge. Elsewhere, visitors play at old television screens or hold a Game Boy.

Game packaging, controller cutouts, character art, and shelves of hardware extend the theme beyond the machines themselves. Rather than keeping the collection behind glass, the cafe makes playing the games the central activity.

The Reel describes the experience as a return to childhood and identifies the cafe at No. 18, Lane 49, Chifeng Street, between Zhongshan and Shuanglian MRT stations. Google Maps confirms the named business listing and its location.
