Ahhh Pickleball Social Hub occupies a ground-floor space in Taipei’s Zhongzheng District, near the city center. Instead of filling the building with courts, the venue has one indoor pickleball court alongside a bar, lounge seating, and a private room.

Founder Johnny told GQ Taiwan that he wanted to reproduce the social spaces found beside some overseas courts, where players can eat, drink, and talk after a game. Beginners who reserve the court can use entry-level paddles and equipment supplied by the venue.

The bar is open to people who are not playing. Its opening menu centers on three low-alcohol cocktails inspired by pickleball: Match Point combines shochu, passion fruit, and a sparkling sour profile; Rally is a gin highball with yuzu, lemon, and sea salt; and Game Set pairs roasted oolong cold brew with shochu.

The result treats pickleball as the center of a longer social outing rather than an activity that ends when the court reservation does. Ahhh also presents the space as a venue for parties and group gatherings, with themed sessions planned around glow lighting, disco, and night market imagery.
